Re: Rage uk tour

1992s trapped is considered a breakthrough . Like Grave digger they have had a few different lineups and even more albums . Peavy wagner been the constant. Best idea is to check recent output to see where the band are . If only Grave digger would tour like this in the UK. I only ever saw Grave digg...

Re: Rage uk tour

I don't know much about them. I know there a big deal in trad circles, and I know they have neglected the UK, but that's it. They are playing local to me at the weekend though.

Any album recommendations?

Re: How many people still visit this forum?

I have a look, now and then, but even the most stubborn people have started to fall off now, including me.

Yes, good announcement. Saturday (bar the celtic frost set) is still super thin for me, but Friday and Sunday look good!

Re: Next announcement

A CF set is most welcome.

Shame we had to pay anthrax as the price though. Stil, Celtic Frost is one of my all time favourite do I'm happy with this!

Re: Next announcement

Helloween mentioned the possibility of a uk fest next year on there fb thread. If true, Bloodstock would be the front runner surely.

Re: Next announcement

After a good start that last batch of bands left me pretty cold, with only Sacred Reich that I would really want to see. (I really want to catch them though). The shift in the booking over resent years is very clear. They types of bands that fill main stage just aren't my thing anymore; and the Soph...

Ted Nugent

Cheap Trick

That's some great bands.

Re: New wishlist for 2023

They had a decent enough crowd. Perhaps it was a small drop, but I've seen something similar for many bands over the years.

Also, it Id actually like to see Katatonia back. They are a bit bigger than they were back then... so Katatonia for 2023 please!

Re: The rather morbid celebrity RIP Thread.

I am a royalist, a rather ardent one in my old age. However, it is a difficult thing to cover. I think the news has got the flavour of it wrong, its too over the top and feels rather performative.

Re: Should Bloodstock really say it's a family friendly Festival?

No as I posted in the other thread I think its very irresponsible for Bloodstock to market the festival as family friendly. Its a festival of a load of adults cutting loose and getting fucked up for 4 days and most of the behaviour is not oriented round families at all Your gonna see drunk people, ...

Re: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly BOA 2022

I do hope you know that wearing a face mask doesn't protect the wearer? Actually, this is just utterly incorrect misinformation. There is considerable evidence for masks protecting the wearer in the academic literature. It's true that the masks are particularly effective at preventing infected peop...
