Re: A free-for-all thread

Just need to do a head clear rant, not looking for feedback or anything. I've never been good at making friends. I've always tried to be a decent person, but it's only in the last five years or so that I've had what I would call a social circle - and it's mostly down to you lovely lot. Unfortunately...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Dammit I want to play XCOM. But no new games until March. I have too many already.

Re: What has made you happy today

I saw that earlier, any word on Craig Charles or Phillipa Forrester being involved? Won't be the same without them. Craig put a twitter post up that he hasn't been approached, but would be up for it. No word that I know of on Phillipa Forrester. As for JP, listen to this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/progr...

Re: A driving thread

General driving thoughts. Now I'm a regular commuter, I'm becoming rather good at economical driving. It's a constant game to keep the average MPG above 38. Serves me right for getting the unnecessarily big engine I guess.

Re: What has made you happy today

I was on taxi duty yesterday so wasn't drinking much (just a glass of wine with lunch). Then I broke out the wine box once I got home and got throughly pished while playing Mass Effect.

Re: What made you Lol Today?

Mansplaying is where a bloke spreads his legs at the knees, even if the ankles are kept together. Mostly became a term on public transport due to narrow seats, men spreading legs due to testicular issues and SJW's taking it up as another sign of the patriarchy oppressing them. Then Womanspalaying be...

Re: movies

Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This felt far more like a Star Wars film than the prequels, lots of humour, fun characters, old and new and a more grounded universe, with less CGI, more physical effects and locations. I had a lot of fun with it and a smile on my face throughout. That said, I do have ...

Re: What's upset you?

Not really "upset" by this, but certainly shocked. Got home from work to find out that my dad moved out today, mum's in bits for obvious reasons, and whilst I understand these things happen, from my point of view this has completely blindsided me, considering I've never seen them so much ...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Can't find driving thread. Fuck it. I've been a commuter for 4 days now and I have no idea how anyone does it. My current displeasure is people who are obviously scared of their cars, the road, other drivers, the dark and the slightest spot of rain but have to drive for work, insisting on driving at...
