Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread

A social drinker, a casual drinker, and an alcoholic walk into a bar. The bartender decides to do an experiment and puts a fly into each of their drinks. The social drinker walks up to the bartender, points at the fly, and asks for a new drink. The casual drinker quietly removes the fly and continu...

Re: Best Bands Who've Only Played Bloodstock Once

Even though I wasn't there, I want to add Kroh because I sadly missed that one but I saw them as an opening band in London back in 2015 and loved them! I heard they're back together so hopefully they'll play Bloodstock again and one that I'm at. I saw that Kroh set and loved it at the time, but the...

US vacations? Oxford vacancie? Did you mean vaccines?

Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread

In an effort to shift some timber (target is to drop 8 stone, 5 by BOA 2021) I've massively cut back on drinking atm from averaging 3-4 pints a night to about that in a month. This if I keep it up then Bloodstock will be hecktonne cheaper as I'll be a complete lightweight. That's a great idea! :lol...

Re: 2021 Bands Ranking List

I'm blown away from this song! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwq7OMHqcko See! This is why I like having lots of time to check out bands I never heard of before that are on the line up for the next Bloodstock that I'm going to. Part of the joy of Bloodstock is the waiting for Bloodstock.

Re: Best Bands Who've Only Played Bloodstock Once

Man, I'll have to go through all the line ups to confirm this but I can say some of the bands that I've discovered through going to Bloodstock that I absolutely love and I think only played once: Undersmile 2014 Rising Dream (with the singer at that time!) 2012 Krepuskul 2012 oh shit pizzas nearly h...

Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread

Friday night and drunk again. Man it's easy to get drunk when you're at home and have a good booze supply. Listening to Svalbard and waiting for the pizza to arrive then it's probably some Black Adder specials and then back to watching vids. Anybody else drinking while we wait patiently for the next...

One of my favourite bands ever since Spreading The Rage came out and I heard the title song for the first time. I just checked their website and they look to be very active and I don't think they've ever played Bloodstock before. So they are my request. Check em out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

Re: What has made you happy today

It's incredibly cruel to do to any human being but cars driving by the golf range shouting out "LOSER" is hilarious. Especially considering what Trump called the military men. Hope he doesn't top himself over this. That would just undermine the victory. Well, I guess if anything, his spoil...

Re: KK/Ripper

What? Do all the members of Judas Priest hate each other now? So bad that they can't play at the same festival with their respective bands? I don't really know what the relationship is like between them tbh. However, I reckon its more that each band would have more value to the fest as a stand alon...
