Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread

Man I miss going to gigs and drinking overpriced beer! See you at BOA 2021! :drink: Big time! We need to keep drinking and watching concert vids on youtube to keep the dream alive! You'll find me going crazy over Mercyful Fate and trying to check out as many bands as possible while getting drunk an...

Okay, now I've sobered up I've corrected a bunch of typos. But, yeah, some things are just hard to explain.

The Still drinking But in Isolation thread

The last few minutes were spent thinking, "WTF, this whisky bottle is drunk-adult-proof...then I got the box off the top that was holding my bonus whiskey glass. Okay, now that I've gone from cider to whisky and I've got my headphones on as I crank a mix CDR into my ear drums, let's remember th...

Re: Next Announcement

Well, while things like reggae metal may not be my first choice, I am getting quite impressed with this upcoming lineup because there's so much diversity. It will certainly be interesting to check out as many of these bands as possible. I was watching a video for Sharks in their Mouth and thinking a...

Re: What has made you happy today

Playing guitar for my wife, having a bit of a sing along, then playing together with her on the piano. That's sweet man. Cherish those moments. Thanks! :drink: It's too bad life doesn't come with a camera because some of the best moments aren't those that we watch but those that we live. I like to ...

No idea what this is but it's a pic https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/77/Room_Number_309.jpg/250px-Room_Number_309.jpg Also, I seem to be the only one doing the countdown. I remember when this started (or at least what seemed to be the first one) back in 2012. C'mon, let's all do thi...

Re: Black Sabbath 50 Years exhibition

I didn't know this existed. How was it?

I had the good fortune of going to the Victoria Albert Museum for the Their Mortal Remains Pink Floyd exhibition. Long line up, then a short walk through, a film at the end, and then the best part, exiting into a massive Pink Floyd shop!

Re: What's upset you?

Watched 'Murdered For Being Different' on Britbox. Of course I already knew the story of Sophie Lancaster but it was really sad to watch it play out. :'( Had a chat with a friend on the topic and we recalled stories of when we were teenagers and the violence we saw or were victims of, from similar p...

Re: 2021 Bands Ranking List

Yeah Fate was what got me to get my ticket a whole year in advance and luckily too because I decided to go VIP for the first time and the few remaining tickets were sold out within just 6 minutes. But after checking out bands online and with the new announcements, I think this is my order of must se...

Oh? Whats the issue? Problem with US trademark law according to their Facebook. :? Wasn't there a comedy horror movie made by MTV in the 90s called 'Idle Hands'? I'm sure the Offspring made a cameo appearance in it too Yes. And it's the first thing I think when I see those words. But that film was ...

Re: 2021 Bands Ranking List

Listening to Soen's album Lotus right now and they're sounding like a band I might want to check out.

That's one nice thing about having a Bloodstock so far off on the horizon, plenty of time to check out all the bands on the line up. 8)
