Re: Wacken ban bags, BOA seem to be considering it?

As if Islamists have any interest in being a part of the political process and their goal isn't to destroy western civilization. That's pretty much why it would never happen even in the unlikely event someone suggested it. As for vetting migrants... it's not that difficult. Ask them if they think t...

Re: Wacken ban bags, BOA seem to be considering it?

How does one vet people for "anti-Western ideals"? And what possible justification could anyone give to put Islamists in government? I'm not even sure how that could be achieved unless they gave them peerages!

Re: The Official "Okay, Now I'm getting excited!" Thread

Sophie will definately be over-lapping with main, just not for the headline slot. Yeah sorry that's what I meant, don't really give a toss about the headliners on main stage Sat/Sun so I'll be dossing around for a bit. Drinking and talking shit in the IRC camp is better than bands and you know it.

I hope so. There's a few decent bands I want to check out and that tiny booth thing is just a bit shit.

They'd probably have to change about a tenner each so not many people would fork that out for a dodgy kebab.

Another new football season and another shocking kit. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/item/e2c91a48-df95-4398-bf5f-ffe6fde64aac?intc_type=promo&intc_location=sport&intc_campaign=norwichkit&intc_linkname=bbcthree_norwichkit_article Yikes. It looks like someone vomited the 90s on that.

I wouldn't class them as folk. They have folkish elements with all the Japanese stuff but they mostly just sound like Children of Bodom.

Re: Food Stalls

As long as the garlic bread stall is there I'm happy. I lived off the garlic bread topped with cheese last year and '13. Probably doesn't help the festival stink right enough, but it's too good. That and the wee milkshake stall near it that kills all hangovers. I'm guessing you mean the calzone pla...

And the award for most pretentious band bio on the New Blood stage goes to:

Series 3 of BoJack Horseman was excellent. Not as soul destroying as the 2nd but it still had its moments.

Re: The Official "Okay, Now I'm getting excited!" Thread

Actually managed to muster up a bit of excitement yesterday while doing a run through of the bands I'd not come across before to see if any of them were worth watching.

There weren't very many that fell into that category mind.
