Re: Computer Games Thread
Adored Red Dead Redemption but I've never enjoyed the GTA franchise as much. I guess Cowboys and riding around on horse back just do it for me more than pimped up Gangsta rides. Lol! Playing Borderlands at the moment. Red Dead Redemption is probably one of my favourite games on previous gen. Along ...

Re: Computer Games Thread
Got an Xbox one for Xmas from my fiance. Already played through Lego Batman 3 and it looked and played amazingly, just need all those characters now. Played a little gta v which looked sleak and the extra additions are nice. Focusing mainly on watch dogs right now which isn't too bad. Driving is a l...

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa - I find this character hit and miss but the film was actually really funny. Some great jokes my favourites being " I'm trying to save your head.........shoulders...knees...and toes". 8/10

Re: movies
Yeah, I think that's part of the thing. I'm so used to hating big blockbuster action movies, Marvel ones aside, that despite loving the Guardians of the Galaxy characters I was real ready to hate it. Instead we get a super fun movie, with serious shit, and great action. Also some great stuff from t...

Re: movies
Also also also, I read the Age of Ultron comic over the weekend to get a feel of who Ultron is, etc. Obviously there's going to be a huge difference between the movie and the comic (as Wolverine and The Invisible Woman play a massive part in what goes on, and we've not met characters like The Visio...

Re: movies
I read Civil War today, and I'm now really not sure how well it'll translate into a film the way the MCU stands at the moment. Dr Richards of The Fantastic Four and Black Panther are kind of key to what happens, and more to the point, Captain America 2 had Cap ostracised and hunted by S.H.I.E.L.D.,...

3 episodes into The Blacklist and I went and bought the first season box set. Really enjoying James Spacer being awesome and it's making me even more excited for Avengers 2

Re: movies
^ I'll believe it when Marvel confirms it. I know, but I think it might be pretty close to their plans. Also an announcement may not be that far away, if only to share some of the stage with Warner Bros & DC currently. Warner Bros. Unveils Full DC Movies Slate Through 2020 I think Marvel are mo...

^ I'll believe it when Marvel confirms it. The Road - Viggo mortenson and his son travelling around apocalyptic America doing boring things. Very boring things. Bored/10 Valkyrie - Tom Cruise playing a German soldier but with an American accent who meets other Germans played by British actors with B...

Re: movies
Prisoners - dark and gritty thriller about what a father would do if his daughter was kidnapped. I really enjoyed this and it kept you guessing for a while until you could guess who did it 30 minutes before hand. Hugh Jackman acting his arse off and thought it was his best performance yet. 8/10

Re: TV: Current and Recent
Seconded. I've seen 1 good Colin Farrell film - in Bruges. I find him incredibly tedious so I hope the producers and directors force him to act. Doctor Who was the worst episode this weak. The writer had clearly been watching Oceans Eleven and the director every cliche possible. I'm glad they ditche...

Re: movies
Slither - meh. Visibly a director still finding his way and clearly found it by Guardians. 5/10 for awesome Nathan Fillion use.
Sabotage - a lot better then the critics will make you think. The ending was obvious but Arnold pulled off his finest acting post-politics. 6.5/10

Re: TV: Current and Recent
Oh god i've seen a few episodes of Sons Of Anarchy and that Jax guy is annoying as fuck! Watching him bowl it around when he's a skinny little whelp is just cringe-worthy :/ Whoever done the casting is an idiot. Really don't see why people rave about Sons Of Anarchy it just looks repetitive and poo...
