Yeah - it is a tad hypocritical to say you care about animal welfare then feed an animal a diet that could quite easily seriously damage its health.

Vegan cat food does exist but it looks like the stones you put at the bottom of a fish tank. I'm not convinced that "vegan" cats aren't being fed elsewhere tbh. They are definitely eating spiders off your floor though.
