Re: Next Announcement

If this is how it's continuing to pan out, they need to find a way to get some variation in m2tm. If this much 'core' filled the main stage, the fest (as we know it) would be over. It doesn't sit well that the 'grass roots' bands don't really sync with the festival as a whole. Keep the votes sure, ...

Re: Next Announcement

Personally think a band should be able to say whatever the fuck they like on stage really unless its outright Nazi hate speech or something similar thats illegal I mean if politics becomes taboo doesnt a load of other stuff naturally follow? For example do we tell Watain to stop pushing their religi...

Re: Themed stages

Bloodstock is to small for this sort of thing

If you dedicate the Sophie tent(Im assuming this is what you mean as Dio and Hobgoblin would really not be suited to this) to 1 genre all day everyone who doesn't like that genre is screwed when it comes to alternatives to the Dio stage

Re: Next Announcement

Aye, I enjoyed it when it was a bonus party evening to kick off the weekend. I like Rotting Christ and will see them but think they'd have been better on another day when half the crowd (including myself probably) hit it too hard and are in a state by the time they show up  Agreed but accordin...

Re: Next Announcement

Very good announcement for me

Ten Ton Slug and Bong Cauldron are great.

Heard Footprints in the Custards are really fun live and somehow always missed them before

Barbarian Hermit and Countless Skies are both decent additions ill watch happily with a beer

Re: PARKWAY DRIVE - CONFIRMED AS BLOODSTOCK 2019 SATURDAY NIGHT HEADLINER

Its not something Bloodstock can really win with I remember there being loads of complaints on here when the Sophie headliner clashed with the main stage as people didnt like missing out I think overall this is the best way of doing things as people get to see more bands and there is no chance of th...

Re: Next Announcement

It also doesn't help that BOA is one of the latest festivals in the year, and can only really poach bands from Wacken who mainly cater to older fans, and who also have a tendency to make really questionable bookings. I dont personally know anything about booking bands but a few months ago the organ...

Re: Next Announcement

In that case Powerwolf save me from having a very early finish with bands on Friday Are you saying you like Powerwolf but not Sabaton? Each to their own of course but I find that quite odd, the two bands are very much treading the same boards. Bit weird I know though im mainly basing this on enjoyi...
