Re: TV: Current and Recent

Now that it's summer I'm compiling a small list of tv shows to start/continue watching, which are as follows: House Of Cards Arrow (still need to see the latest season) Boardwalk Empire (again) Mad Men (again) Hannibal Anything else I'm missing? You should watch Castle. Everyone should watch Castle...

Re: movies

Fargo - I'm loving the tv show so I thought I'd rewatch the film. I'm going to be controversial here, I prefer the tv series to the film. It's great they tied up the bit about the money but the film was just full of bad dialogue and pointless scenes. The only person who seemed to be acting was Steve...

Re: movies

Nope. Basically, both Marvel and Fox can use the character but they don't crossover. Marvel just aren't allowed to mention he's a mutant. Marvel announced they were using Quicksilver first, and then as if completely unrelated, 2 days later Fox announced he would be in x men. I expect he will be muc...

Re: movies

I quite liked the hunger games films. The first was your very generic teen action movie to lure teenage girls to the cinema. The second was a better improvement that was actually being a serious movie with big political undertones and a great lead up to what could be a great 2 part film fest. I also...

Re: movies

I love that the costume is a straight copy of the The Dark Knight Returns costume. That has made me very excited but let's see how it actually plays out first as I'm a little concerned there are too many superheroes in this film (superman, Batman, wonder woman, cyborg).

Hulu has exclusive streaming rights in America so there's no way Netflix will pick it up. I'm hoping for TBS!

I thought Netflix showed it over here?

Both seasons are great watches especially for the chemistry between Bacon and Purefoy. It's been renewed for a third season now.

Re: movies

I'm not really one for going to the pictures, but I think I'm going to have to go and see Frank. It's about Frank Sidebottom (Chris Sievey), which was one of the funniest acts that I've ever seen. http://starseeker.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/frank.jpg I read the only thing it has in common is t...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Quite liked episode 1. A slow start but picked up quickly once Billy Bob was more involved. I hope he is much more prominent in later episodes.

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Deathlok? So that becomes a thing? Iiiiiinteresting. Yep, look the character up on Wikipedia. A very interesting character. Community season finale was excellent. Also really enjoyed this week's Parks and Rec. In other news, can anyone tell me if that Vikings show is worth watching? I'm halfway thr...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

I believe they are just entering the cap 2 segment with Dethlok on channel 4.

But having seen cap 2 I'm very excited for the next episodes and the upcoming cameos.
