Re: movies

I thoroughly enjoyed both Amazing Spider-Man films, and thought Garfield was one of the best parts about them. The main issue with them loaning Spidey over to the MCU and having Garfield in the role would be that they'd need to explain why he's been rocking about New York defeating supervillains bu...

Sentneced just came out with a book on themselves that comes with a tshirt...i want both but the inability to speak Finnish makes the book somewhat difficult and you can't get the shirt without it.

Re: movies

I think the new spider man films worked in spite of the new actor (and the new aunt may is a bit shit too) otherwise i kinda enjoyed the first one. Second one i was less impressed by.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

That report was flawed in so many ways. According to it, Everton's cheapest season ticket was £444. Seems reasonable value for a Premier League team. That's if you want a big sodding post obscuring the pitch like one seat I sat in at Jurassic Park. And good luck getting one at Anfield* as the...

Re: movies

Werewolf Rising I figured since i saw this advertised quite extensively in my local HMV that this must be a good movie...i was mistaken. Fits 90% of B-movie markers from no obvious character developments, hyper convenient plot devices that seem to come from nowhere, poor costumes and unbelievable an...

Re: What has made you happy today

Day two on anti-depressants, and I'm getting so much support from family and loved ones as well as people at work. I feel lucky that I'm surrounded by such awesome people. It's cool you have that level of support. If i go back on either the anti-depressants or anti-anxiety which i'm prescribed my g...

Re: movies

And two more for the road before people disagree with me  Horns 6/10 could have taken it or left it but it wasn't all that special. One of the better performances of Daniel Radcliffe i suppose but frankly i consider him painfully wooden usually so i'm not sure how much that comment is genuinely...

Re: movies

Maleficent - 5/10 Not sure if this film wasted my time or not. A Walk Among The Tombstones - 6.5/10 Standard Liam Neeson fare really, not much more (or less) valid than almost any of his other post-Taken movies in my opinion. Constantine 7/10 Bit late watching this one but i finally got around to it...

Re: What has made you happy today

Wound up hanging out with 5 of the members of Dragonforce and the members of a band named Neon Fly last night. My girlfriends brother's dad died a couple months ago and he's been a bit of a mess ever since, the Dragonforce guys were super cool to him and he left smiling for a change and when my girl...
