Re: What has made you happy today

Had a good weekend despite not being in York/Leeds, and there are three days of work available for me this week, woo!

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Handed a CV into a shop for a sales assistant job a couple of weeks back. They never called me, and the 'staff wanted' poster is still up there. I've lived in a retail environment since the age of three, I've had a lifetime of experience of tills, customers etc, what more do they want?

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Annoyed at how easily I manage to get myself worked up. All I have to do today is head into town to hand in a CV, but I've been totally over-analysing all my clothes, and nothing will give the right impression, so if I hand the CV to the person that will be doing interviews, they'll decide against g...

Re: What's freaking you out?

Just got an email from my bank saying that from July, if I exceed my "arranged overdraft" they'll start chargin me £6 a day. I'm currently balls deep in my overdraft, but I have no idea what my "arranged overdraft" is. Currently losing my shit. I just got exactly the same email!...

Re: What has made you happy today

Sun is shining, and the cider pub on a boat are doing £2.50 pints of cider alllll day! edit: and I successfully caught the mouse! Set it loose in a garden down the street. Poor creature's back legs are both broken so I don't think it will last long, but at least it gets to feel the sun on its back o...

Re: What pissed you off today

Cat caught the mouse in the cute thread. Has decided to bring it into my room, half alive, to play with it. Ugh. Don't want a dead mouse in my room!

Re: Stuff that makes you go "Awwwww" mk 2.0

We have a little mouse! I guess it's nesting in the folded up boxes in the corner of the room. Scuttled out to say hello today. I threw it some bread crumbs, mega cute the way it was nibbling on them. My cat sniffed around where the mouse is, but she seems more interested in cuddles than hunting.

Re: A free-for-all thread

Sorry to eclipse your question but I have one that will certainly be ignored in the Q&A thread - has anyone ever tried chickweed tea to deal with skin problems? I've got some spots that just won't go away, plus itchy flaky skin in the corners of my mouth. I'd rather try natural remedies than ex...

Re: What has made you happy today

Made organic veggie soup for lunch, which came out really well. Also picked some chickweed from the garden, which is now in the airing cupboard to dry out. Hope it makes my face better!

Re: A free-for-all thread

^ Hmm, not so much with bands, but certain songs I have been put off, not necessarily by exes, but just general life experiences, ie going through a bad patch and listening to certain songs a lot in that period. Sorry to eclipse your question but I have one that will certainly be ignored in the Q&am...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Spent hours trawling through record shops yesterday (nothing better to do with my time), but still couldn't find any vinyl I actually wanted. Pretty unsatisfying experience!

There's always loads of women's bums in this thread, so here's a man bum for once. Re: What pissed you off today

Apparently I'm now not going to get paid until the 26th April! I was expecting to get paid back in March!! I'm supposed to be going to York that weekend. Being able to make the trip is looking seriously unlikely now, UGH.

Re: The Vagina Thread. For Vaginery thing.

Back to nipples - I think they're sexy poking through fabric, though I also used to think it was gross when I was a kid. I remember laughing at mannequins with the nipples poking through. I find when my nipples go hard it makes the whole shape of my boob much nicer - does anyone else experience this?
