Cheers  It's looking like a semi-regular thing too, which should be good. It's a bit scary though - a very drunken girl kept cheering and yelling she loved me at half the songs I played. It turned out she was my housemates scary ex-girlfriend who stole his wheels when she broke up with him :o W...

Dunni if anyone remembers my post about me DJing to one man and his dog a couple of weeks back, but tonight was our second attempt at pulling it off, and it went quite well, managing to draw a decent crowd, even though all the punk kids left during my set and came back shortly after... Anyway, it ca...

And for those who don't know, the song is by a Danish death metal called Iniquity, who split a year or two ago. I have that album though, and it's very very good.

Ah well, tonight the Norwich alternative community tried to organise a DJ night down at the Ferryboat, to try and bring more people in to drink, and not just for gigs. Unfortunetely, no more than about 15 people were there at any one time :( Anyway, I managed to blag a DJ spot because I had to drive...

Uni sounds like a health hazerd! It's because of the shock of moving away from a situation where you have either your parents cleaning at home, or a cleaner in uni halls of residence. The poor students find themselves wondering why the pots and kitchen surfaces don't magically clean themselves over...

Ah well, things are looking up. The internet works again, I have enough money to last for now, and I came downstairs this morning to find the mouse lying twitching in a pool of bin juice that leaked out a bag a few days ago. Not sure if it died from eating it or whether it just got stuck to it... I'...

Nice to have a bit of good news for a change! My internet has gone down, 2 days after getting it :x So in between having no money, failing to get a job, realising that our house has mice (which have been eating my limited amount of food), I'm managing to get access from the uni library. Ah wel...

The really sad and funny thing is, if I don't get a job soon I won't be able to afford to eat anything else!

Bollocks, our house has mice :(

My room also has no curtains. I think the woman over the road saw me headbanging and air guitaring, and then quickly drew her curtains :eyes:

Aye, it's off to London or back to Nottingham if I want to catch any decent gigs.

Only had a couple of decent ones while I've been here. UEA has plenty of good gigs coming up in thr autumn semester though.

Yep, in the next week or two! That's if any of you find yourself in the Norwich area that weekend.

And assuming we finishing unpacking any time soon. Seriously, what 21 year old man needs to bring a hobby horse, Reptar toy, and box of lego with him? :?
