Re: What has made you happy today

With just one month to go until the London Marathon I was running out of time to fit in on e big final training run before the big day. So this morning I woke up at 4am to go for a 20 mile run befor...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

This will probably come across bad but Comic Relief is beginning to get on my tits.

Just saw Miranda sing and dance badly to a Spice Girls song and probably raise more money in three minutes than I'll manage all year with 1000km of running.

As something of a banana connoisseur Tesco's bananas are the worst by far, I find Morisson's to be the nicest.

My throat proper feels like I've been fucked in the mouth by a cactus.

Don't know how long my voice will hold out for today :-/

Re: Trivial Grumblings

I'm not sure how I can describe my fundraising this year in a more concise manner than 'running 1000km by entering a race every weekend this year', but people still keep asking me if I've finished my 'race' yet.

Re: What has made you happy today

Cheers, Id've cracked it well under 2hr 30 on a flat course, but today's was notoriously undulating so I'm more than chuffed with the time I got.

Jenny caught me warming up for my 30k this morning, or rather me doing my impression of the ministry of silly walks.

Re: What has made you happy today

My 30k run this morning went much better than expected, given it was much further than I'd ran for a while. My main targets for the race was survival and a consistent steady pace throughout, but I also managed to finish just after 2hr 30 target I secretly had in mind as the best possible time I coul...

Re: A free-for-all thread

Got a 30k run tomorrow in Stamford, and I need to find 2-3 hours of music to listen to. Trying to think of some fairly medium paced stuff, but coming up short atm. Have you seen jog.fm? It takes your cadence and matches songs to the pace. :) Nope, had no idea something like that existed. Now to fin...
