Re: What has made you happy today
Yeah stuff like that is fun. My current employers took me out on a team go-karting day a week before I even started. Ran one of the directors off the track into a wall. Now everyone respects me as a young man who takes no shit. He came back later and annihilated me with a head-on collision so we're ...

Re: What made you Lol Today?
If you like that kind of thing, come work for the civil service! Though missing a deadline by well over 6 months just isn't funny anymore... I think the reason it made me chuckle is because whoever wins the tender is going to earn a lot of commission from their company or at least a lot of kudos so...

Re: What made you Lol Today?
I'm leading a project at work to negotiate a load of new food and beverage supply tenders for a major international hotel chain (think Hilton or Marriott). This morning was the deadline for a particular category of applications and almost every single one came late last night or an hour after the 08...

Hey Hey Hey. I smashed a can in half with my ugly face a whole day before Joe did, I should be king of the wet bellies. Or maybe Fred because he crushed two.
I had to reset my password just to come and say this.
PS: loved seeing you all.

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread
True but working out a stable diet is trial and error. It's like holding a moth, too much and you'll crush it, too little and it will escape. That's a weird analogy but I agree. As an analogy it's actually pretty poor though, it implies the only variables in a "healthy" diet are too...

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread
I've seen people claim the opposite as well - that it's all about moving more and you can eat what you like as long as your calories burned outweigh your calories taken in. Haha yeah that's what I said the whole time I was trying to lose weight solely by exercising and not actually getting anywhere...

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread
Right all you fit and healthy people. Basically I'm a bit of a Slob and I've set myself the Goal of loosing 1.5KG a week for the next 16 weeks, which will get me to my ideal weight. Is it possible? Any Tips such as exercises and diets? Cheers, Andy. As Alex said excessive weight loss over a short p...

Re: Trivial Grumblings
The same sort of Neanderthal that would think it OK to put empty wrappers back in the sweet tin at Christmas I don't have a problem with that, I would rather they put them back in the tin than have them all just discarded on the sides, tables and furniture. I just tend to open the tin after visitor...

Re: A free-for-all thread
I used to keep them all on despite knowing they were a bit gross because I felt like I had something to prove somehow. At the end of my first year of uni I just cut them all off, I felt like they had run their course, no longer served a purpose and just stood in the way of potential jobs.

I don't even know what the show is but I remember seeing that episode on TV. Many laugh-out-louds were had.
