Re: What made you Lol Today?

My brother recently moved to Bulgaria and today he asked me to set up Skype for our Dad so he can speak to him. My Dad's response was "I'm not talking into a bloody computer, you can piss off. I've got a phone for talking to people."

Being lost in Stalybridge thanks to my friends incapability to follow a Sat Nav.

Also, Stalybridge is the most depressing place I've ever been to.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Just out of interest I went back and read peoples comments and opinions after the Xbox 360 launch and I was surprised to see how Negative everyone was about it - look at it now, questionably the most successful gaming console ever. The thing is about the Xbox One launch is that it was never going to...

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

After putting my sensible cap on I've realised that it is a ridiculously high aim. I think you're right Fjar - it's a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. One of the many reasons I've finally decided enough is enough is I play cricket and recently made the jump from 2nd team cricket to 1st cricket and...

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

Cheers for the advice, Moonburp.

I used to Cycle and play a lot of Squash, and for some reason over the last 2 years have stopped (I used to regularly do 40+ mile rides for fun, wouldn't manage that now!) , definitely taking them up again.

Re: The Health 'n' Fitness Thread

Right all you fit and healthy people. Basically I'm a bit of a Slob and I've set myself the Goal of loosing 1.5KG a week for the next 16 weeks, which will get me to my ideal weight. Is it possible? Any Tips such as exercises and diets?

Cheers,
Andy.

Re: What pissed you off today

Filling in a Medical form for a Job I start in September and had to Weigh myself, can't believe how heavy I actually am. This pisses me off, which it never really has - I think I'm turning into a Woman. Time to get the Bike out and start eating Rabbit Food.

Re: What Blew Your Mind Today?

Not sure where to post this, but my Parents recently just got back from greece and bought me some ouzo back, but why the hell does it go cloudy with lemonade? Normally you serve it over ice, where it goes cloudy. It's basically because types of oils in there which dissolve in alcohol, and when you ...
