Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
The country isn't fucked, because Corbyn will never get in. The issue is now that Conservatives will go pretty much uncontested at the next election.

Lol Corbyn. What a Joker.
But seriously, I wouldn't be surprised to see Labour almost wiped out in the North of England now, and replaced by Ukip.

You could be right, Jim.
Going back to the Stuttgart tickets, Just searching on the net and it seems to be the same as Oktoberfest, i.e free entry. So I'm not sure what the guy I work with was on about...

Re: What has made you happy today
Apparantly at oktoberfest (so i assume it's the same at them all) that it's 9 euro a stein, plus the 1 euro tip to the barmaid.
So 10 euro a stein works out at less that £4 a pint really, which is what you'd expect to pay in any major city in the uk. So it's really not bad.

Good day at Buxton Raceway.
Good racing action from the 1300 saloons, GT Rods and the Bombers
Also good to see a lot of money raised for the Bosley charity.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
It's nothing unusual for governments to implement the most unpopular policies straight after an election.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
It's all come clear to me since the election why the opinion polls got it so wrong, and that's because the extreme left a so god damn aggressive and abrasive towards anyone who doesn't agree. They've created a silent majority.
