A few weeks ago I ordered an old second-hand novel called The Fortunate Lady for my mum which she'd first read as a teenager. Reading it again, she told me today that she'd found a postal order receipt in the book - it had probably been used as a marker - and the receipt was dated 9th February 1943....

By the way, when I said band members wearing their own Ts is a bit vain I had in mind established bands; I wouldn't think anything wrong with struggling bands doing this for promo purposes.

It's December and I've had hayfever symptoms all day and night. My sinuses are aching and my nose is literally running like a tap. I can only think that the mild weather has brought out fungal spores and the wind has been whipping them up. Our climate is fucked already.
