Re: The rather morbid celebrity RIP Thread.

Who'd of thought- a guitarist who got rich and famous off 3 chords- gotta admire the pluck (excuse pun) R.I.P. Rick (even though you were from sarf london)

Re: So how is everyone's weekend looking?

I've just discovered The John Doe's Burial to add to my list of must see and they don't clash with anything I want to desperately see..

Re: Flag Poles

Near us last year there was a massive pole with a blow up dinosaur attached to it- but they are deffo banned in the arena- quite right too- it was getting silly so's you couldn't see a thing except flags

Re: Anyone know the policy on water bottles / pouches?

They will search your bag and chair if you carry one but as everyone says there is lovely cold water on tap by the loos at the Sophie Lancaster end. Also the food is reasonable to buy- lovely big breakfast baps that will keep you going until afternoon, massive cups of tea and coffee...

Bring your tent- chuck it down...you will be surrounded by new mates in no time...if you are near me I'll give you a glass (plastic of course) of the finest merlot (chianti is not as good as it used to be!)
