Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

MASSIVE new TV deal for the Premier League from 2016-2017 season lasting for 3 seasons. Revenue and TV rights currently suggested that by qualifying for the Champions League proper you're set for a £90 million - £120 million windfall. To put this new deal in perspective, finishing BOTTOM of the Prem...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

That's an interesting thought process actually.

Cody Rhodes vs Colt Cabana.

Contrasting backgrounds but in my view they both have a lot of talent, much of which seems as though it's been held back often.

I'd have to give Rhodes the edge though.

Thus, sadly a reason football is dying a death at some levels.

Like the aforementioned Scottish League.

Re: The Wrestling Thread

It's not as if WWE having shitty booking is a brand new thing that only started on Sunday. Surely the majority whom sign up to the Network aren't doing so purely for the current content alone? There's only 3 hours worth a month if so. Just enjoy what they've done in the past if you don;t like what's...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Everyone talking about the shocking defeats last Saturday, I'm just happy we won and will go above Middlesborough if we beat them at home this coming Saturday. Also,. a massive FUCK NO! to Celtic and/or Rangers joining the English league. No to any inter promotional combinations. There's enough Engl...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

The issues with Scottish football are a bit like a foresight into every British league aside from the Premiership. Lack of general money/television revenue/media coverage combined with the high exposure of of better leagues. The level of the SPL overall doesn't seem to be much better than League One...

The games on TV though are usually two well matched teams though so there's always gonna be an element of cancelling each other out.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

I'd like Southampton to get the in teh Champions League this year. Not for any fondness of them as a club, far from it. More so it proves that it can be done by someone other than the usual and clubs coming up can see there are more options rather than "struggle but finish just a couple points ...
