Re: Next Announcement

I'm pretty sure she's said Hobgoblin is open Thursday, whether those plans have changed with the lack of M2tM though, who can say? Expecting Terra IV in the announcement considering Vicky said they are playing on the Damnation podcast. Too similar to Hacktivist for me, although they are better. I su...

Re: Next Announcement

Phil Campbell and The Wildhearts are two of the most boring, predictable hard rock bands, and they seem to play everywhere constantly. Nothing special there. Or maybe I'm just sad because I saw the picture first, and thought it was Haken being announced. Raging Speedhorn are one of the worst bands i...

Re: Corey Taylor Speaks

I usually think so called "cancel culture" is just businesses trying to boost their bottom line - in the same week Dr Suess' books were taken out of print, the company that "cancelled" them posted record profits as people brought his books in protest. Piers Morgan walks off GMB b...

Re: Corey Taylor Speaks

Corey thinks people not liking an Eminem lyric is the same as the KKK...what a fuckwit. That's not what he's saying. He mentioned context, that is important. No, that's pretty much what he says. I mean, the way he says it is casual, perhaps he means something deeper than it, but it really doesn't c...

Re: Next Announcement

I didn't intend to ruffle feathers with the miracles comment. I doubt there is much bloodstock can do if there are problems. Right now the team are balancing: - Bands (and staff possibly?) physically able to get here with the travel restrictions in place - The entire audience having received vaccin...

Re: Next Announcement

Life of Agony are back as well - I guess they just haven't sorted the website yet.

Re: Next Announcement

Anyone else noticed Necrogoblikon have dropped off the lineup as well? Nothing's been said about them, I hope they haven't dropped out.

Re: Next Announcement

Kreator is about the best we could hope for! Happy enough with that, not a fan on record but they were great last time! Not really gonna miss any of those that have pulled out either, although I doubt we'll get huge replacements for the likes of Phil Anselmo. Just checked out Seidrblot and they are ...

Re: Next Announcement

It seems most people are predicting BMTH or Architects or whatever pony is being trotted out as metal apparently these days. But going with something else, given the current line-up, if it now had to be all UK-only, that chops a significant amount of bands from the roster, does it not? I mean, if I...

Re: Next Announcement

I think it was a bit inevitable we'd see a few changes, though it would be nice if they offer refunds for those that don't want to go in the end. Mercyful Fate were the main reason I brought a ticket, although after so long without a gig I will probably go either way as long as the lineup isn't comp...

Re: Next Announcement

It seems like it won't be so much a limit on the numbers that will be the issue (I imagine it'll either be full capacity or cancelled), but which bands are actually able to come over. Have we had anything from other countries, "roadmaps" similar to ours? l
