There was no confusion that he had a heart attack and was unresponsive - just the time of death. BBC had reported it when I posted, then changed to 'confusion surrounds death of Tom Petty' after the police tweeted it prematurely and it was denied, then confirmed at 3am.

Reports coming in that Tom Petty has had life support removed following a heart attack. Saw him do a fantastic show at Hyde Park back in June.

Watched Blade Runner on the big screen last night - possibly due to its glacial pace, maybe I've not been in the mood to enjoy it before,but without distractions it finally sunk in!

A lesser known, but quite sad - Neil Finnleton, at 7ft 7 was Britains tallest man, dead at 36. Played in the NBA before moving to acting and played the giant Mag The Mighty in Game of Thrones and The Fisher King in Dr Who
