Re: A free-for-all thread

I have a job question. *cough*JIM*cough* I had a job interview today (Wednesday) where I was given the job on the spot, the manager basically said to check if my boss needed me for a few shifts beyond my notice period (since the bars are in a partnership of sorts) and then get back to him. However, ...

Re: A free-for-all thread

Go for it! If two managers have recommended you, then you're clearly better than how you're viewing yourself.

Also, extra dorrah.

Hearing someone describe the House of Lords as 'the best and brightest' in a completely non-ironic way.

Re: What made you Lol Today?

Reminds me at a party I was at last year with a bunch of folk, all of whom were multi-lingual - Included were my now-girlfriend who has varying degrees of competancy in five languages and my Swiss friend who has competancy in seven, with fluency in four. It was a great moment when someone turned to ...

Re: Recent Photos of Yourself

I actually came here to post a picture of me today compared to one a year ago, without the knowledge that Joe had done so.

So now I've caught up on this thread, I can't, or I'll just look like a dick.

Fuck you Joe.

These are two of the best fucking people I know, and yet they're having horrible shit happen to them. Fuck t...

Re: What has made you happy today

I got this razor and these blades. Feather blades are meant to be the best but they're a bit more pricey, so I went with those to be on the safe side. Don't bother with the blades that come with the razor (if you get that one), they're as blunt as a butter knife.

Re: What has made you happy today

I pretty much only shave once a week to fix up the neckline (otherwise I get a pretty impressive neck beard) and every time I did it with a disposable, it gave me awful razor burn. So I decided to spend £6 on an old-fashioned safety razor and £2.50 for 15 blades to see if that will help. Holy shit, ...
