Re: BOA Forum Meet 2016

I'm aiming to bring allong (subject to logistics) a batch of my home-made spice biscuits, and perhaps some of my caramel crispie treats (using home-made caramel). Depending on timing, I may have to abscond for the Sumer set... I'll be the tall, broad bloke who looks like an older version of my avatar.

Re: The Relationships Thread

Aren't these guys just the fucking worst ? Self-proclaimed "nice guys" are, 99% of the time, anything but. These guys funamentally missunderstand human interaction. I've seen it theorised that this (and other "flaws" in a significant portion of moden males) is due to a social sh...

Re: What has made you happy today

I remember walking through town in a t-shirt one December morn, running into my Greek mates who where all bundled up and confused at the sweat glistening on my forehead...

Re: BOA Forum Meet 2016

Unlike Noodle, I have a memory (likley why I always confusine him by quoting him things he's forgotten saying). Most years, it's around the 1900 mark, in front of the rock soc tent. The exact time is typically starting 15 minutes before the band in the Sophie tent ends, ending 15 minutes after the n...

Re: What has made you happy today

I DON'T HAVE VAG CANCER! HALLELUJAH! Woot! (your post reminds me of when I danced into my local gaming haunt celebrating a clear biopsy) I don't get why people complain - I only really come alive once it gets above 25C. I only really come alive if it's below 22C Above that, it's TOO hot for ...

Re: The Relationships Thread

There are effectively three parts to a sucessful relationship: a) Compatible personality: You have to get on with each other. b) Compatible intrests: You have to have something you can enjoy together. c) Mutual attraction: You have to find each other attractive. Lack C, and you have a good friend. L...

Re: POLL: The EU Referendum

There's a theory that May the Merciless is giving prominent posts to the Brexiters, setting them up for failure to discredit them, so she then has the ammo to back out of the Brexit.

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Growing up, trains, buses, etc, had "bench" seats, that is, one single wide steat for everyone.

Now they have "bucket" seats, indevidual shaped seats. That are always too narrow for a fwllow of my stature, leading to my taking up 1.5 seats and being very uncomfy.

Re: Trivial Grumblings

New fangled train is turning up in the mornings, and while it's all very shiny, there is 0 leg room. I'm fairly tall at 5'11", and my knees are pressed right up against the seat in front. Good luck if you're taller than that. Also the train has been late by 15 minutes every day this week. HAd ...

Re: What pissed you off today

Any time it's sunny the drains in the flat start smelling really bad. I've poured god knows how much cleaner down there. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I'm in this flat less than a month now so it's not too much of a concern but yeah. Option 1: the safe way. a. Pour some washing powder (as...

Re: What pissed you off today

Got myself a good grump on, all the better for dealing with the staff at work.

Then BOA went and announced GloryHammer & Sumer, and I've been smiling ever since!

In related news, my wallet is too small for all my £50's...
