Re: A driving thread
Car tax time again and as always I'm wondering whether it's worth it. My tax for the year is £230, which works out to pretty much £20 a month. I barely drive these days as i'm working in london most of the time and away on tour a fair bit, so it just sits in the drive. Add the insurance and MOT, ser...

Re: What pissed you off today
The fact that the entire country breaks down because of Christmas.
Things I really need to do before I go abroad for 5 weeks, like get some contact lenses, doctors appointments, general admin etc, I can't do, because once again, everywhere is understaffed, overbooked, or just closed down.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
I'm exhausted trying to figure this particular person out.
I've never had it before that after 6 months working and travelling with someone I still feel completely ill-at-ease around them, intimidated and shy and have no idea what to say or do to connect with them. It's driving me insane.

Re: What made you Lol Today?
Oh yeah I saw that. Cringefest. I hate folk who preach that if you aren't actively anti-nazi/ anti-racism or whatever then that makes you a full blown nazi/racist yourself, and then follow it up with "If you don't agree with me then delete me and never talk to me again". Seen a bunch of po...

Re: What pissed you off today
It's mad that people actually do that, the whole 'pull your car over and let me rave at you'. On the hard shoulder as well? I mean come on.
The only person who would actually stop their car to hear you out, would be doing so to purely knock you the fuck out.

Re: What made you Lol Today?
You don't use it, or at least try to avoid it. It's a bit easier to not buy shitty shampoo than it is to not receive shitty money in your change/from a cash machine. It's not particularly easy to avoid when basically everything you buy is responsible for animal death in one way or another, and it's...

Re: What pissed you off today
working at a particular venue today. The technical manager has decided to let me spend the evening working whilst he sleeps on the floor in the back and then decides to get drunk and hang outside smoking with the other guy who works here. He's also really rude to everyone, except me thankfully, but ...

I was gonna have a similar amazon-related whinge actually. I ordered this really special necklace for my mums birthday next week, she specifically asked for it, it's a pendant with all her kids names engraved on it (you know mum shit), and it's super important she gets it, as we're all away so no on...

Re: The food thread
Tried making this, but forgot hazelnuts so whipped down to Co-op and got some cashews instead. Success. Also mine was more creamy than in the photo. -Link- might actually give that a go, looks good! So since me and my bloke went veggie 2-3 months ago, we've downloaded this Hello Fresh app and have ...
