Re: First Timers Coming For The Day

As long as it's not too hot and it isn't windy.

Doesn't look too bad according to the Beeb.

Re: The Alcohol Thread

Mead the ultimate Metal drink? More a drink for those with a very sweet tooth and wasps. Besides that, £25 (plus inevitable festival mark up) for a small bottle? :o I think I'll pass.... At least Kaltenburg is vaguely drinkable compared to some of the other alternatives. It could be far worse.

Re: First Timer Questions

We all have a pop at the line up and such but really cannot fault the beer or the service Certainly none of these half hour queues or salty beer Pretty damn well kept ale from what I remember Oh we can. The Hobgoblin is usually undrinkable after the first day. And that's generally it. You end up ha...

Re: Recommend an album from this years line up!

You may as well just go to Setlist FM find out what songs they are likely to play and listen to them either on there or another website such as Spotify or even YouTube. Listening to an obscure album they don't play anything from is a bit pointless if you don't know the band anyway. As an example her...

Re: First Timer Questions

Nah. I really mean it.

You aren't going to be getting Belgium's finest just the shite they have in places like Academy's. If it was a big name such as Carlsberg or Heineken then surely it would have been announced by now as all the other corporate names are there.

Re: Next Announcement

Yeah. But they're Emos. Isn't that par for the course?

I actually listened to them and it's all that "emotional" and "issues" stuff. Maybe they don't wear eyeliner like the other bands do, but it's cut from the same cloth.

Re: Next Announcement

That's a pity. Should have done the decent thing and cancelled. But it's not like he's disabled or anything. Jeff Becerra is paralysed FFS. The injury is the same as the injury that Gazza the footballer had...last year Ben Fagoust vocalist with the brilliant Goatwhore had a broken leg and was on st...

Re: First Timer Questions

Have a look in your local supermarkets such as Tesco or ASDA, and especially ARGOS as there are some decent deals on tents and other equipment at the moment.
