Really enjoyed the new Moonspell (Hermitage), low key and a bit pink Floyd like, is a slow burn, subtle with some tasteful compositions.

Yoth Iria - As the flame withers. This is a really strong and very melodic Greek BM gem, looks like its sold out atm for physical formats, but there is new stock due. Highly recommended if you like that style.

Yep on my radar

Gave their last album another spin this morning. What an absolute belter it is.

Would be a nice addition to the Incineration lineup.

Didn't know about this shop, methinks a vinyl binge is in order next time I visit then.

Aye and work in the town so it's a very easy and overly tempting walk, helps that it's got a decent sized metal section. Grabbed Saxon's Denim & Leather a couple of months ago when it was allowed to be open.

Aye, Sound it Out can be really good for metal. I've bought of bunch of stuff from there over the years, Candlemass' Chapter VI, Sabbat's History of a Time to Come, Artillery's By Inheritance to name but a few. Good little shop  will definitely be paying a visit when I'm able to go up and visit home!

Loved the last album but I'm fairly underwhelmed with the new one.

Can't quite put my finger on why. They've lost a lot of the speed and ferocity but I s'pose I just don't think the songs are as good. They're leaning more towards trad-metal because I hear loads of Maiden and Priest (there's a very obvious Two Minutes to Midnight riff in there somewhere for example).

Enjoying the recent albums from Spectral Wound and Mānbryne if you fancy some tasty, dark black-metal vibes.

Shall have a nosey.

Just listened to Wode - Burn in Many Mirrors. Nice bit of death/black type of stuff.

The new Nekromantheon is another welcome bit of old-skool thrash.

Another great Album from Blaze Bayley - War Within Me.

He has only ever done one weak album post Maiden (King of metal) all the rest have been quality. And this new one is up there with his very best stuff.

He should be way bigger than he is imo.

Loving the new Herman Frank album. Probably more than the new Accept album.

Just watched the Brainstorm live stream. Their new song is a belter too, new album late august. Not sure if it’s been posted in the gigs section but they are playing London on October the 3rd if anyone cares. Great to see them with a uk date again, saves me a trip to Europe.... not that I could see that happening in October
