Spectral Voice

Beyond pissed I needed to wait until payday and Devin Townsend tickets sold out, been looking forward to seeing him all year. Also got a £20 ticketmaster voucher imminently going out of date and the usual sort of gigs I go to like the above are never on it so that's an extra annoyance.

Sod it, bought a ticket for the Nightwish gig in London next year. They may still end up at Rockfest Barcelona but if I end up seeing them twice, I ain't gonna complain

Likewise. I went for a seat this time.

Also The Lounge Kittens at Union Chapel in Islington. This will be their penultimate show as they're disbanding early next year. :(

 I always wish there was more afternoon shows so I can be nicely tucked up in bed by ten.

Edit: Why don't you go watch Carnation at the Black Heart after.

There are some bands who I just want to watch and I'm not prepared to arrive several hours in advance to queue in the cold to get a spot near the front. I get bored in stationary crowds too. Standing is a lot more fun for bands whose crowds like to move.

Went to see Youth of Today afterwards at the Dome, turns out that's why it was early start. Wish there was more co-ordination like this, turns out neither band could move the date and rather than split the audience so Terror moved to finish before YoT started. Probably a bit self serving anyway as both bands were at each others shows crowd surfing
