If I do pick up any Metal Magazines (When I have the spare cash), it's usually Iron Fist.
Classic Rock sometimes, but that's about it.

I think it a crossover of 2011/12 when I subscribed for a year, and every issue got worse month on month, to the point I cancelled the subscription. I'd come through the door, and I'd just groan in disappointment looking at the cover and seeing who was featured.

Re: Metal magazines - PLEASE ANSWER!!!!
I can rattle through an edition of terrorizer in no time anymore. Less and less articles I want to read.
Seems to feature more and more random hardcore etc acts and focuses less on death and black metal. I'm a big black metal fan so I'm biased towards the latter; I'd read articles on black metal bands I've not heard of to see what they're about.

Started getting Fireworks about a year ago, wasn't even aware of it's existence before. Came across it randomly browsing in WH Smiths. Mainly features "classic rock", melodic and prog rock. Has stuff like Status Quo and Sammy Hagar on the cover, but does feature a lot of bands i like, recently Battle Beast, Sirenia, Revamp, Tarja and Edenbridge. Never thought i'd ever be buying melodic rock magazines, must be getting old.

Terrorizer, though I'm hoping to locate a copy of Zero Tolerance at some point. I wonder if one will make it to my local WH Smith.

I used to have a subscription to ZT once upon a time.
Not sure, but you can probably order them off their website...

What happened to your subscription? Did you get bored? =P
I checked the website recently but didn't see an (obvious) order option, just info on places where you can find it.
I'm sure it said the next issue is out in early December. I'll check WH Smith around that time.

Honestly? ... I put a stop to it (and by that I mean made the decision not to renew it one year) because while I do think it's the best written and undoubtedly "the most underground" of the major metal mags, I wasn't really finding m/any new bands from it! That and I think I started to read more books again around the time, and become less interested in reading reviews and interviews etc.
I'd definitely buy it again if I fancied a magazine though. I like train journeys.

Re: Metal magazines - PLEASE ANSWER!!!!
I used to get Metal hammer as a kid then moved on to Terrorizer as my tastes changed and nowadays Subscribe to Zero Tolerance, as I find rizer has lost its way a little (flailing about not knowing what audience its going for).
I still pick up both rizer and Metal hammer for fights and coach journeys though.
None of them are perfect mind, but I'd rather read my metal news from tactile, real life retro paper n' print rag, written by half descent journos, than the awfully random quality of web scribes offerings.

don't buy any any more, but it was mainly Zero Tolerance (used to write for it too, great mag) and Terrorizer (fully good supporters of the scene these days)... haven't bought Kerrang or Metal Hammer in more than 10 years.
