Cimmerian Shadows exclusively.
Re: Metal magazines - PLEASE ANSWER!!!!
Zero Tolerance, it features some great bands and comes in a much more convenient size.

Same reason I stopped buying emo hammer a few years back, plus it's underground section was a joke.
I did buy zero tolerance for about a year, but stopped after they published three issues which had more to say about religion than it did about music. Still, I'll probably get back into ZT just for the coverage of upcoming/underground bands... plus, they sure knew how to destroy talentless fools with a decisive review!
I looked into the eye of the fish.

I voted only for Terrorizer. I used to by Metal Hammer when I was over in England but the novelty wore off and Terrorizer seems the better magazine so I have a subscription.
As for Metal Hammer or Classic Rock, I might pick one up if I see an issue that interests me but it's been years since the last time this happened, except for that thrash issue with Classic Rock, I did buy that.

Terrorizer only but it's gone downhill & I hate the new dumbed down reviews section. Mainstream metal press is awful, much like mainstream metal then. Just full of hype and bullshit.

I only ever buy magazines if I'm going to be travelling or something. I'd go with Metal Hammer (it's disgusting in places) or Terrorizer. I stuggle to understand how magazines stay in business these days what with the advent of the INTERNET

Re: Metal magazines - PLEASE ANSWER!!!!
Zero Tolerance is decent because it's written by actual members of the extreme metal scene. The problem with other magazines which will go unnamed is that they're written by a small clique of people who have nothing to do with the actual metal scene and just stand on the fringes "ironically" listening to Limp Bizkit and jumping on bandwagons. The writers for ZT actually are actually involved with bands, labels and putting on shows and that passion shines through.
That said, the writers for Metal Hammer's subterranea section are good people who know their stuff and can actually be found in the front row at shows and that section of the magazine is very decent.

I have high hopes that Iron Fist (http://ironfistmag.com/ - due to be launched in Sept 2012) will be the magazine Terrorizer always should have been. Whatever happens I can't see there being enough room in the market for these two and Zero tolerance so something will have to give. At the very least it should drive quality upwards and make the mags focus on the music for a change.
Re: Metal magazines - PLEASE ANSWER!!!!
I only really read a couple of articles in each Metal Hammer issue I get... but the CDs they come with (fairly often) can be alright for getting a song or two from a load of bands I wouldn't bother buying a whole album of.

Best thing about Metal Hammer = The Ask Jurgen part.
