I buy metal hammer every month. I really should subscribe. That magazine got me into Blind Guardian, Therion and Communic on the first issue. People say it has gone downhill, but I think it has improved since Milas because editor.
I would like them to spend more time on the European metal scene rather than the yank, but aside from that it is grand. I love it.
Terrorizer is good, but I have been buying that lately for the goth section.

Aye I agree, there was a period a 2/3 year ago where it essentially became a monthly version of Kerrang but I think its got a lot better as of late, with interviews with Tobias Sammet and a Metal Detector feature on Savatage being two good examples in recent issues. I just think some people haven't forgiven them for putting My Chemical Romance and Lost Prophets on the cover a few years back (which is fair enough really.)

How does it score in the "Wombling Free" category?
I realise that most of you are probably too young to have any idea what I'm on about. Like I care.

Fireworks is the only rock mag I read these days........so I think that makes my answer "none of the above"

Re: Metal magazines - PLEASE ANSWER!!!!
Terrorizer only for me. I have read it for nearly 8 years.
I try not to buy any magazines from Future Publishing (i.e Metal hammer, Classic Rock, Total Film, etc) as I find them to be over priced with poor quality content.
Unfortunately, Terrorizer seems to be becoming slightly diluted as of late though.
