Someone should start a new updated poll. I noticed Decibel isn't up there. But I've been annoyed with them because you can only get their flexi vinyl discs if you order online and their shipping costs are atrocious.
I was a faithful devotee Terrozizer for years up to when they printed their last mag. I've finally given in to a subscription to Metal Hammer which I think the best magazine going today for both size and content. I don't like the how small Zero Tolerance is but I do like that they still have the mix CD so whenever I'm in the magazine store I check to see what bands are on it.
So yeah, big fan of Metal Hammer. And for the critics, you should check it out again, they were the Nu Metal mag back in the day but they've changed and become the new Terrorizer IMO.

I was a Terrorizer guy for years, till it got super thin and lost a lot of its best writers.
Metal hammer has shifted to a more 'true' metal approach, it has the best writing too. I buy it more than any other nowadays. ZT still gets a look in though, as does Powerplay.

Metal Hammer rules!!!
Sure they have a broader approach than Terrorizer did and will probably cover some bands you don't like. But they have really carried the torch for metal magazines.
There's a new metal mag called Fistful of Metal. Two issues in and it seems pretty cool. Too soon to draw a comparison thought.

I stopped buying magazines years ago due to the fact i hoard magazines and never flung any away. So i eventually stopped buying and got rid of what i had. I have bought the odd metal hammer over the years though.

First Full of Metal is the mag of choice.
New editor has sent Metal Hammer off a cliff.

I subscribe to Fistful Of Metal, it's a great magazine. Please subscribe everyone, or find it in WH Smiths etc. Let's not lose this one!!
