I know they had some kind of Hardcore-esque evening at the Old Brunnie (call it "Sams Bar & Grill" all you want, it's still the fucking Brunnie) not sure who else played but I know "Budget Movie Death Scene" did (one of my mates younger brothers plays).
Back when I was in Cold Fury every other week there was a metal gig going at either the Brunnie or the Pig, fiarplay 9/10 times it was us Playing with Hellbound or Tempestora, but still.
In fact tomorrow a bunch of us are rehearsing for the Halloween gig at the Brunswick, basically a large group of us take turns playing a bunch of rocky-metally cover songs all night long and getting severely fucked up. Back in 2008 anyone who attended would've been privy to me pissed as a fart, dressed as Papa Lazarou, belting out "Raining Blood".
I expect to see you ALL there this Halloween!!
Might pop down if i'm still in Gloucester and my mum isn't doing anything (Halloween is her birthday and as such she is massively against the whole thing) Look out for a zombie-pirate-wench
