As for myself, I'm just having a look through the "2019 In Heavy Metal" wikipedia page and these are the albums I''m looking forward to the most:

Hecate Enthroned - Embrace of the Godless Aeon
Rotting Christ - The Heretics
Avantasia - Moonglow
Candlemass - The Door To Doom
Whitechapel - The Valley

I'm also hoping to see new ones from Dekadent and Darkestrah sometime this year, hopefully.

It already looks like a belting year. Just in the next couple of months there's:
Soilwork
Within Temptation
Soen
Dream Theater
Evergrey
Avantasia
Delain (EP)
Queensryche

And then for the rest of the year you've got Anthrax, Megadeth, Helloween, Delain (full length), Alter Bridge, Saxon for starters.

Legion of the damned new one came out today and of the 3 songs I’ve heard, sounds like a belter. Should come through in the post tomorrow.

Then got soilwork, Rotting Christ and within temptation pre ordered.
Misery index out 8th March and I might actually give the new Bodom one a go as quite like the released track. Wasn’t a fan of their last two, found them boring.

Flotsam & Jetsam, Overkill, Candlemass and Hammerfall out of those listed on Wiki. I believe there's a chance we'll get Megadeth, Cradle of Filth, Anthrax, Finntroll and Sacred Reich albums in 2019 too.

Hoping to see that album Hell was working on a couple of years ago but suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth shortly after they announced they were working on it. Something new from Moonsorrow would be good too.

Also, are Turisas still going? Not seen an album from them for ages.

I would imagine Sneap's involvement with Priest has scuppered any chance of a Hell album in the near future.

Perhaps this Dark Angel album will finally see the light of day? They first announced they were working on it about 5 years ago!

Sunn O))) is confirmed, as is Pissgrave. All I can remember at this point.

Nyogthaeblisz released their first single from their new album in April 2017 so maybe that will actually turn up this year, who knows. Pissgrave have already released a single too, but I tend not to listen to them until the full release comes out.

IIRC Diocletian have an album out too. Didn't really get the last one too much after VK left, but Doom Cult was classic so will see.

Isn't there a new King Diamond album coming? Read a couple of months ago he was working on it so hoping that appears this year. Head a new In Flames track this morning so guess they've got a new album coming, the track was crap though.

How did I forget them? Both should be great (if they see the light of day anyway)

As a live act they are, but they've been working on a new album since '15 so I wouldn't count on it.
