So the rumours of them incorporating hip-hop elements into their sound has turned out to be lies. Damn you internet. Damn you all to hell.

Good. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Found a copy of the new Sabaton album at the record store today, thought that was interesting given it's not out yet, not interesting enough to buy though. If it were the new Tool album being released early on the other hand...

The new Tomb Mold is frickin' awesome!!!

New Wormed EP has just dropped as well but I've not even had a chance to listen to the two new tracks yet.

A bit of a strange find:

The debut album from Hedda Hatar, it's really eclectic Hard Rock with a bunch of different styles thrown in. What's most interesting though is the fact that almost all of the album was recorded live in one take, save for a few overdubs.

Here's a video of them recording it, sounds like a really loud B-52s song or something

Now I want Flavour Flav to do a spot with them at Bloodstock

I think the new album is alright, not a patch on their classic stuff but worth a spins anyway.

Rosalie Cunningham(ex-Purson) released a solo album on Friday, if you enjoyed Purson you have to check this out.

New Suicidal Angels out 9th August. Great band. Looking forward to that one.
Then Hammerfall and Sacred Reich towards the end of the month.

Sadly I never got the chance, hopefully she plays the Purson stuff on tour.

It's not metal but I'm really enjoying the Fontaines D.C. album at the moment. It's kinda punky alt-rock/alt-pop.

The track "Boys in the Better Land" is a belter.

I've listened to the new Sabaton album a few times now, and I'm honestly struggling to find motivation to listen to it any more. Following on from the Bismark single, it just feels watered down and doesn't have the same energy as previous albums.

Hope they only play at most a couple of tracks from it in their headline performance...
