The Principle of Evil Made Flesh - 25th Anniversary

Now, it's maybe not as groundbreaking as In The Nightside Eclipse, but it's certainly a pivotal album in the extreme metal scene. Today, The Principle of Evil Made Flesh by Cradle of Filth turns 25. I think we can all agree that it is one of, if not THE, best Cradle album. Personally, I find it hard to choose between this and Dusk... And Her Embrace. Anyway, vote for your two favourite songs from the album and relive the masteripece.

Twenty five years? Fuck me. I remember buying this from Selectadisc in Nottingham. Not played it in years though I'm afraid.

It's unlikely to be honest. If I fancy a bit of Cradle it's almost always going to be either "Dusk.." or "Cruelty.." but at the moment I'm actually listening to "Assault Attack" by MSG.

I think this has as much in common with The northern death/doom bands as it does with anything else.

Its an odd record, but a very good one too!

Recall buying this when it first came out, blew me away, I'd never heard anything like it before! I prefer the EP and album which came after and probably Midian as well if I'm honest but everything Cradle did in their first half dozen years or so was golden.
