Warkings new album is a nice slice of power metal.

Yeah, it's solid. I do prefer the previous release though - seemed to have more killer tracks.

There's been two highly enjoyable death metal albums in the past couple of months:
Ulthar - Providence
Faceless Burial - Speciation

And the two new Hellripper tracks sound great. Similar blackened-speed to what he was doing on the previous album and Black Arts EP but an even stronger straight-up Motorhead rock 'n' roll influence.

I liked those 2. I've also liked:

Bedsore - Hypnagogic Hallucinations
Temple of Dread - World Sacrifice
Terminal Nation - Holocene Extinction
Year of the Knife - Internal Incarceration

OL Drake is now the Evile singer. Personally I feel like they ruined their momentum by taking such a long break but I'll be interested to hear the new album. I feel like Evile didn't want to take the plunge and become a band that tours all the time, they wanted to keep their steady jobs. Which I totally understand.

I shall give them my full, undivided attention.

Off to a good start with Bedsore...

What did you think?

Those Hellripper tracks are good. Have you heard Toxic Holocaust's - An overdose of Death....they're like the 2000s version of blackened Motorhead? Also Gehennah's - King of the sidewalk......they're the 1990's version of blackened Motorhead  ?

Just noticed that Skeletal Remains released a new song last week. Great band.

I thought Bedsore were the most interesting of the four but it felt a bit uneven through the course of the whole album. Needs a few more listens.

The others I've only played a couple of tracks from but Year of the Knife sounded like metal-core/death-core which I'm never a fan of.

I take it nobody has mentioned yet the new Venom compilation of unreleased early demos?
Or Metallica's S&M2, finally getting a release.

Giving it a few spins this afternoon, along with the new Veonity album.

Been obsessing about the new album ever since I saw the video for this.

There's just the split album out there I believe which I think might only be available for download.

Once a new studio album is released, I am so going to pre-order it without even checking out any reviews or hearing any other songs!
