2020 Albums
Re: 2020 Albums
I haven't found any good 2020 albums yet but I'm discovering a few I missed in 2019.

Don't really buy CDs anymore, but was tempted to get it on vinyl.....£26.99 on vinyl vs £9.99 on CD though

Early days yet but January has mostly been a slow month anyway.
-Hazzerd's new album is an alright listen but little replay value
- Annihilator's new album doesn't quite hit the highs as FTD did but still a solid effort
- Lost Society's new singles signal a change from Municipal Waste/DRI style crossover thrash to just 3rd rate metalcore, worst new material of the year already

I was listening to their first album yesterday whilst running, I desperately want to hate this band, but I can't cos that album is so much fun. Looks like I'll have to acquire the new one too then

Yeah it's too soon to say how good but it's a welcome thrash of snarling, garagey blackened-punk.

The new Blasphemer (Italian) album is sick! Fans of bands like Immolation should check out this tasty slab of brutal tech-death.

Yeah that's pretty tasty. So now I like the Italian and British Blasphemers

I see the bad moon arising.

There will be a new Testament album - 'Titans of Creation' - on 3rd April. One new song - 'Night of the Witch' - is available on Youtube and streaming services. It's fucking good. A step up from the two previous albums.

Will have to check that out as I've been in two minds about whether to get a ticket for their Manchester gig in March. I liked "Formation..." and "Dark Roots..." but wasn't overly keen on their last album.

January has been my favourite metal month in ages! Some brilliant cheesy power metal in Brothers of Metal and Victorius, some good old school Rage, the *amazing* old school Euro thrash of Bütcher (seriously, the new album, 666 Goats Carry My Chariot is stunning!), plus Midnight and Annihilator and then topped off with a new Testament song!

Re: 2020 Albums
Thoroughly enjoyed the latest Annihilator album - not much into thrash but that one certainly gets a pass in my books. I also found it amusing to find out that 3 out of the 4 members are younger than the band itself
