The new one is great. I listened to Lords of Death again too, forgot how good that is.

Thanks for bringing this one to my attention. Played it through the last couple of days and it’s a banger.

Omega Infinity - Solar Spectre is an intriguing album. Like the unusual sounds and future vibe.

Not albums from this year but I've been trying to listen to thrash bands from this century that I've never bothered with before. Warbringer, Exmortus, Terrifer, Amken, Tantara and Ultra-violence are all good so far.

I approve

Speaking of thrash, Testament's new album is out. On the first few spins is probably their best since their 80's output! Easily their best since Formation... anyway

Horisont and The Alligator Wine are a couple of 70s style rock bands who's new albums I'm keen to check out upon release.

Warbringer are great. New album out in a few weeks and the two "singles" are both awesome.

Currently checking out the new Testament. Too soon for me to say how it ranks against their back catalog, as it only came out today!!

I'm not really much of a Testament fan but I thought the last album was great. I've given the new one a listen and it's a very enjoyable also.

Wasn't a fan of the last album but this new one is a belter. Best since Formation... for me

Might be soon but it's been awhile since an album hit me so hard so quick. I usually reserve judgement for a few days but this one had immediate impact.

I've come to the conclusion it's my favorite since Ritual (always had a soft spot for that album). Lot of releases to go but currently AOTY for me at the moment.

I think it's one half of a really good album. For me it fades during the second half but perhaps after a bit more time that will grow as well.

I really like The Gathering so for me it's probably the best since that one.

Velnias - Scion of Aether is a good doom album with nice flowing guitar parts.

The new Testament is decent but a bit forgettable. I much preferred the last album which I thought was a killer record. In a year when Bütcher have put out one of the best thrash metal albums I've heard in ages, this isn't really hitting the mark.

I'm really enjoying the new Myrkur. Not remotely metal but incredibly relaxing.
