Re: 2021 albums
The albums that have confirmed release dates I am most looking forward to are Epica, Evergrey and Anneke van Giersbergen all on 26th February. I will also be checking out the upcoming albums by Orden Ogan, Blaze Bayley and Thunder plus whatever else I see that takes my interest.
Other bands who should or might have new albums in 2021 that I will be anticipating are Blind Guardian, Anthrax, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Helloween and Kreator.

Yeah, I've been waiting very impatiently for a new Kreator ever since the new video came. I don't want to buy a split EP, I want a full length!

Re: 2021 albums
Moonspell, cradle of filth are big on my radar. Hoping for Priest, Blind Guardian, and Maiden too.
Welcome to a brave new world/ The future here or haven't you heard?
Re: 2021 albums
Mostly hoping the Helloween album that was due last year gets released this year. Others: Orden Ogan, Evergrey, Accept & I'm a sucker for a covers album and love Saxon so hopefully that's good too.

Perturbator has an album coming out in 2021,but all I can find out about it is that it's being released in "the first half of 2021". Hurry the fuck up, electro boy!
Re: 2021 albums
I suppose Ghost is the big one I'm looking forward to but also excited to hear new albums from Suffering Hour, Bewitcher, 1914 and Wormwitch.

Re: 2021 albums
I haven't looked ahead much to what's coming out. However, I have already listened to a dozen or so albums that have been released this week.
Not much to shout about so far, though was pleasantly surprised by "Womb" by Juan Bond. Sort of Mathcore / Prog Metal / Avant-Garde Metal.

Frozen Soul - Crypt of Ice is a good old school death metal release.
I see the bad moon arising.

Yeah, that was decent!
Best things I've heard so far this year are probably a couple of EPs:
"Alles still" by Nachtreich and "The Child That Never Came Back" by Umbria. The former is a mix of neo-classical darkwave, dark ambient and modern classical, and the latter is dungeon synth.
Both are bandcamp only IIRC

Therion? Well the new tracks they've put out have hardly been amazing, however nothing can be worse than their last album, 3 hours of utter tuneless boredom.

The last record was poor, agreed. I didn’t even buy it. But I think the new tracks sound good - I got the impression that’s what most people thought.
