Welcome.
8)

After giving up on Boardwalk Empire halfway through the last series, I thought I'd give the new series a bash. One episode in and already I can see a massive improvement on the previous seasons.
I shall continue to watch.

Dexter's back.
Will watch that later tonight.

Homeland S1 does lag a bit in the middle of the season, but it started well and the last episode was fantastic. Looking forward to the second season.

Boardwalk Empire is still awesome, but i'm gutted that thingy died in the first episode. He was awesome. Sigh.

I also REALLY like that they skipped the whole business of Nucky finding out what his missus did with the land and getting angry and splitting up and stuff. I wasn't looking forward to watching through that, so the skipping to separation is fantastic.

Well I'll try and word this so i dont spoil it for anyone. I loved the writing, the atmosphere and it was amazingly acted. My disappointment comes from the ending at the end. If they had left it with the building top I would have been much happier with it it, but the extra cemetery scene absord that emotion and kinda just threw it away. That's where my disappointment comes from, one good scene thrown away for a mediocre by numbers predictable scene.

I can see where you're coming from, but personally, I think it worked well.

And although I disagree with Kaahl about this series being shite, I do have to concede that it's easily the weakest of Matt Smith's.

Season 7 of Dexter is off and running. And what a start. Easily the best episode for two years.

New HIMYM is decent.

Though the ending made me realise how fucking annoying and drawn out it's going to be again so fuck this shit.

Plus Victoria in her nightie

Season 2&3 do, then season 4 really kicks it up a gear. Season 5 has only just started in the US and I've heard it already has some dramatic moments.

So.......Red Dwarf X

I thought it was good. Not great but good. The canned laughter at the beginning was a bit off putting (at one point thelaughter started before the joke) but once Kryton appeared the laughs just rolled on. Lister seemed a little dumbed down but Kryton stole the show imo with even the cat providing a laugh near the end. 7/10 overall a good start to the series.
