I hate to wish my life away but february can't come soon enough after the mid season finale of The Walking Dead. Exciting stuff. Sounding like a stuck record praising this show but the last 8 weeks have been quite brilliant.

THE WALKING DEAD - A quite brilliant episode which makes me want to wish Christmas away and go straight to February.

Two things I learnt from this weeks BOARDWALK EMPIRE:
1. Never open a large crated delivery at 4am in the morning.
2. Never lend Gyp Rosetti a spade.

DEXTER gets even better each week and looks set to be heading toward the mother of all cliffhangers.

BREAKING BAD - Another great episode, this time turning certain previously horrible characters into great ones, and vice-versa.

So Boardwalk Empire and The Walking Dead finales this week..Have to see Boardwalk did more for me, the whole season has been fucking awesome. That's not to say The Walking Dead wasn't good though.

Peep Show was brilliant once again

Latest episode of Breaking Bad (Bullet Points) was suitably brilliant. Jesse now has short hair and Mrs Walt is becoming one of my favourite characters.

Season finale of Sons of Anarchy did not disappoint. All the stories ended nicely while still leaving enough threads dangling enticingly for Season 6.

Ian McShane wearing a Santa costume and a full Tom Araya beard murders loads of families on Christmas Eve.
That's Lovejoy ruined for me forever then.

Dexter's coming to an interesting close this season.. It always seems to end on a note that leaves me wanting more but I'm struggling to see where it'll come from this time around. I know it'll be there, I just don't know from where..

Fuck, the season final of Boardwalk Empire was stunning

The best decision I made this year was to go back on my decision to never watch Boardwalk Empire again.

I still maintain the first season was too slow and the second season was plain old rubbish, but after just watching the penultimate episode of season 3, I'm hard pressed to think of a better episode of anything else this year. There's been some great episodes of Dexter, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, True Blood, American Horror Story, The Borgias, and more than a few contenders from my catch-up with Breaking Bad, but this one might just edge them all.

Yeah, fuck waiting a week for the finale. That's downloading right now.
