WELL.

Music wise - Fallout 3 has one of the most memorable soundtracks for me because it really helped set the mood of the game really well. GTA Vice City and San Andreas are also good for non-original soundtracks. Bastion has a memorable original score as well as Halo.

Sound design wise - The original Halo really mastered using music from a sound design perspective well, Grim Fandango did too, but Zelda: Ocarina of Time is probably the best example of music being used as sound design in games.

Yeah I thought the Fallout Music was pretty ace - I think the Morrowind opening them was really cool and set the scene for the game too.

Sorry for ignoring the production comment but I wouldn't ahve a clue what I was talking about  but a definite thumbs up for mentioning Grim :D)

If you want more information on Video Game Audio, some dickhead spent too long writing a dissertation about it. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwkDaNC ... sp=sharing

I also did a video on it aaaages ago. It was more focused on the use of sound for creating atmosphere in horror games and so on, but still. This is one of the first videos I did for the channel so the audio quality is very questionable, lol. Safe to say I have a much better setup now. :P

sequel in the works for Eternal Darkness.......finally after all these years! (though pending successful crowd funding) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19BBp-LjVVE

Whilst on topic, would have to say music on Ocarina of Time is my favourite....and only a few weeks till I see the Zelda orchestra again :D Also enjoy the work of David Wise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8hT4uYagQc

The legend of zelda 25th ocarsta version. Simply beautiful and stunning. But then Zelda is amazing soundtrack wise.

Marvel Heroes looks pretty decent, and the fact that it's on Steam for free makes it better :D
If I like it, It's probably awful.

£20 well spent. The CD alone was worth that imo, and Skyward Sword was an added bonus. A bonus I still need to complete, preferably before I leave the UK as the Wii is not mine, and not coming with me.
