Hah yeah, was told to visit my grandmother during the afternoon because in the evening she gets agitated and starts asking 'who set this all up, who put me in here? this is all a bit unnecessary, really' etc.
Did actually visit her in the afternoon and she seemed perfectly fine. Short term memory was fucked but her long term is perfectly normal, so we just talked about places where we grew up.

Re: What has made you happy today
Work are going to be putting me on first aid training next month now that I'm official staff.
The members at work have all heard that I'm becoming staff instead of a volunteer and they've all congratulated me, said it's brilliant news as they all think I'm great and one said it's the best thing they've heard for a year.

I don't suffer from insanity, I'm quite happy with it

Re: What has made you happy today
Just had an e-mail to let me know that one of my favourite camp sites is banning under 18s from this Spring. It has now become my all time favourite site.
Nothing wrong with kids in general, it's the parents who can't understand why their little darlings actually running inside other people's tents and constantly kicking balls at your tent and car, is not universally appreciated.
Think we will be spending far more weekends there this year
