Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?
Re: Trivial Grumblings
I made a Birthday cake last night and decided to 'Freestyle' half way and add any old thing and this morning I have a gloopy mess.

TG: Increasing traffic on the road outside our house (loads more houses are now completed at the bottom half of the estate). Gonna be at least 6 months or so before the second half of the loop road is open though, which will reduce the traffic.

I'm willing to bet that gloopy mess will still taste fine, though.

Weird feeling of stress and anxiety that I can't figure out a reason for.
Really annoying me now.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
My house is in a mega studenty area. I'm trying to chill out in my room and watch some TV but radio 1 seems to be blasting out from all angles. I'm tempted to shout out the window to tell them to turn it down...

All I do is work, sleep and apply for more jobs at the moment. Sucks. Lonely and fed up.

Passed my team leader assessment, didn't get the job
My team leader had me in the schedule for it and everything. There are some positives coming from it but can't see the person who gets it knowing the job better than me... But management know best I suppose, next time there will only be one choice - me.

That really sucks, I'm sorry! Can you ask them for feedback on why you didn't get it?

Re: Trivial Grumblings
Got some feedback, got some stuff to work on. They do want to train me and there might be a supervisor job for me, but still a bit gutted. Passed the assessment so not much more I could have done really.

Sometimes it can come down to what a person had for breakfast that morning, some decisions can be so fickle. It sounds like you have the potential, so when the future oppertunities come up I wish you luck with them

Re: Trivial Grumblings
Thanks, I appreciate you guys saying these things I guess it just wasn't my time yet but I can spend a few months working on what they want me to work on, most people got told straight no, where I was more not this time. Having passed the assessment I could go to another department now as team leader but I think I'm better off staying where I am, as I'll get more chances to learn.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
Got my first assignment for the teacher training course due in tomorrow. With juggling the constant battle of house work, lesson plans and schemes of work, being away for morris weekends and the every day battle of chronic fatigue syndrome (Iwas unable to keep my eyes open for more than half an hour at a time for most of today) it's still not finished.
The word count is supposed to be 3000-3500 words. I've flown over this so need to cut stuff out, but I'm worried about it then not hitting all the criteria required to pass. Turning it into a dissertation would be a lot easier.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
We were horribly short staffed tonight. I said I'd work til 10 cause there was one person in with the team leader, and that person then proceeded to phone in sick. On sick call should not be such a big deal, we need more staff...
