I have much admiration for anyone who can get that stuff to work - on the off chance I find one that makes any difference whatsoever it's just all sticky and goes patchy. Personally I'd go for a normal (decent) fake tan for fair skin and build it up slowly.

General advice though is to go very lightly over dry areas like elbows/knees/ankles, as they do pick up a lot more colour. Sometimes I put a bit of moisturiser/Vaseline on them before I do it, or I dab over them with a wet cloth after so I don't look like I've been kneeling in mud.

Have you tried just using a night cream instead? Doing that instead of moisturising in the morning makes me less oily than I would be.
Vichy make some quite good ones for all types of skin :3

Last time I tried taking my makeup off to moisturise before bed, my whole face went red and sore. :/ I don't know where this sensitivity has come from, it was never like this before.

Skin can get sensitive to stuff that used to be fine. I became allergic to deodorant overnight last year

Thinking of stopping the pill, I've been on it a fairly long time and I'm quite wary of that. And I keep forgetting to take it, and it's not like im getting laid any time soon. Anyone come off it before?

I came off it for a few months at one point (went back on it later). Just like starting it, your body goes through an adjustment coming off it. Expect skin breakouts, mood swings and maybe light spotting. If you're taking it sporadically through missing pills anyway it might not be so bad as if you were taking it every day. Depending on the type of pill it could be different - some have higher proportions of hormones than others.

Ahh lame. Oh well, I'm tired of having so many things (it's not really that many) to take every day. Going to try and book a doctors appointment next week to talk to them about it. It's just kind of pointless me being on it really.

Herbal Essences brought back their old line! I saw it in Morrisons and decided to get some.. then when I got home I opened the cap and smelled it.. it smells just like my childhood. It hasn't changed at all.

It smells really different to me. They've taken stuff out of it to try and make it better for your hair, but my manager used it and says its really shit. I'm tempted to give it a go though.
