Would love to see him fail as well, had enough of fairweather Man Utd fans going on about how their team has won so much more than anyone else. I'd love to see them crash and burn. Interesting to read some of the rumours of who they're supposed to be signing too, without European football, is the name alone really big enough to attract the likes of Cavani or Kroos?
Realistically i think the answer is no. They had Champions league football this season gone and were still snubbed by everyone but Fellaini and then eventually a severely pissed off and underused Juan Mata. Realistically i'd suggest that United will have good luck with former Van Gaal players, youngsters noone else is grooming and desperate players who want out. It's next season when they've gotten back into the top 4 and look dangerous again that they'll be able to bring in top drawer players.
Of course this goes out the window if they offer significantly higher wages this season which they're not as above doing as they like to make out.
