Well Shining are technically seen as an Avant-Garde metal band. Wish I saw them, hilarious sax solo's aside. Love the band <3

I would have like The Shining a lot more if they'd used more sax and less keyboard.

Have any avant garde metal bands experimented with a contrabass/subcontrabass sax?

If not, why not?
