I think I had my GCSE's checked for A level, and my A level/UCAS points checked for uni and that was it. Could have lied the whole time

I had to show all of mine when I started at Wragges in Birmingham. Then again when I started the teacher training course to prove literacy and numeracy levels.

I had to show my degree at some NGO that I worked for years ago.

Turns out I hadn't actually received it when I had left uni so I had to graduate in absentia and get it in the post

I've never been asked about my degree or anything. No idea if they've checked. Probably could've just blagged it.

This is an okay drug that they actually sell. After saying what it does, it casually tells you the side effects of causing suicidal thoughts and actions.

Yep - had to give a copy of my degree cert to my current employer along with other qualifications, and had to do the same for 2 professional registrations (signed by a witness) and will have to do the same if I go for chartered engineer status.

No, I've never had my qualifications checked. At this point they're essentially irrelevant anyway.

Filtered Sickipedia jokes to Cliff Richard. Most unkind, most tasteless, most hilarious.

I am pretty glad Sir Cliff has been stamped a peado too. Ever since I was a kid I had a weird disgust for him. Maybe I have a peado 6th sense. (I know he's not been convicted or owt yet, but eh, doesnt matter does it, his career is ruined now anyway)

If destroying his career means no more Christmas singles. He's a fucking nonce until proven innocent.

At 73, with 43 ((according to wikipedia) English speaking studio) albums under his belt, and a reported net worth of £90,000,000, he's really going to be bothered that his career is over, I'm sure he has so much left to say.. I think he probably makes more calenders than albums at the moment.

He'll probably just retire, something most people his age would have done in 2006.

Woman claims she shouldn't pay the bedroom tax because there is a ghost occupying her spare room

But really...

Mrs McDonald now lives alone (or does she?) and, being in arrears, cannot afford the bedroom tax for the two-bedroom property.

YOU DON'T FUCKING PAY "BEDROOM TAX", IT'S A REDUCTION IN FUCKING BENEFITS FOR UNOCCUPIED ROOMS!

:x

Despite Mrs McDonald’s claims, government rules on what constitutes as ‘under-occupancy’ for bedrooms does not include paranormal house guests, meaning she is still liable to pay the charge.

NO SHE FUCKING DOESN'T!!! AARRRGHHHHHHH *destroys things*

Introduced by the Welfare Reform Act 2012, the controversial bedroom tax means that households with one spare bedroom lose 14 per cent of their housing benefit.

Indeed - "losing 14% of benefit" DOES NOT EQUAL "paying the charge". Fucking shoddy journalism at it's best. Fuck AN.
