Have a play about with the build yer own options on here. Just check that the specs you pick are good enough to run a modern game though.

It is a really fun game. I just took the high priority vehicle and avoided 3 guys to deliver it, when I came out they were waiting for me and I killed all 3. Then when they chased me I killed them all again and two of them left, then the third left after I pulled my minigun out on him

If I have to retire my 360 it will be the first game on the xbone I get. Just hope I don't need to do that as I have so many games to complete between now and then.

Edit: 360 is fine but GTA5 has developed a scatch on the disc. Not sure if I can do anything about that. Oh and its my mates so ill need to buy him and myself a copy now. Guess £60 is better than a new 360 or worse an xbone.

Played Toejam & Earl on Dan's Sega emulator type thingy setup yesterday. Good laughs. Not as funny as Motley Crue pinball though

Just fired up Skyrim after getting all DLC for cheap during the sale. Immediately about 5 quest givers were viciously murdered by vampires...

Picked up a lot of games in the steam sale (Damned Steam *shakes fist*). So far I finished Spec Ops:The Line, started the adventures of Tits McGhee in Skyrim (latest adventure being mauled to death by a sabre-tooth tiger), started Saints Row 2 with a slightly lipsticked, heavily cockney David Bowie-esque character and have used Alien Isolation as a constipation aid.

Worth it.

Adored Red Dead Redemption but I've never enjoyed the GTA franchise as much. I guess Cowboys and riding around on horse back just do it for me more than pimped up Gangsta rides. Lol!

Playing Borderlands at the moment.

Got an Xbox one for Xmas from my fiance. Already played through Lego Batman 3 and it looked and played amazingly, just need all those characters now. Played a little gta v which looked sleak and the extra additions are nice. Focusing mainly on watch dogs right now which isn't too bad. Driving is a little cluncky but story is interesting so far. Side quests are also fun.

Red Dead Redemption is probably one of my favourite games on previous gen. Along with LA Noire. GTA5 just stole the crown in time for next gen though. Hoping for sequels with both LA Noire and RDR on xbone, when I get one.

Luke - Wait until you get that badboy on multiplayer. Lolz to be had.

I had it in 360 but went for the trade as they added so many little things and the faces seem a lot more realistic. I haven't played much of the online as most of my friends either don't have gta v or play when I can't.

Red dead. I liked it all the way up until that final mission and I just got so annoyed with it. La noire was great too and I would love to see a sequel of sorts.

I'm starting to feel bad every time I return home to my child in Skyrim and have no presents for her. I brought her a knife and she was over the moon.

I'm going to make a great father one day.

It sounds like most are 360/XB1 users on here. Any PS3/PS4 users?

I'm at the point where I'm thinking of upgrading my PS3 but waiting for that crunch game to make me handover the cash. For me it's almost certainly going to be Bloodborne and I think it's released next month. There are still a lot of games on PS3 that I haven't played yet though. I've still got to give The Last of Us a go.

Dark Souls (1) was my favourite previous gen title, closely followed by RDR and then either Skyrim, Demons Souls, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Mass Effect 2 or (the underrated) Dragons Dogma. I never cared for LA Noire, it just wasn't my style of game really. I preferred Max Payne 3 tbh (Rockstar link) but a lot I know hated that game.

I'm mainly a PC gamer but Sony is my brand of choice for consoles. I'd echo most of what you've listed for best games, with the small amendments of GoW2 for GoW3 and adding LA Noire in (I loved it). Can't understand the hatred for Max Payne 3 as I thought it was great. A step down from the first two perhaps (especially the second one which was close to a masterpiece) but still massively enjoyable.

I might actually get round to setting up the PS4 tonight, its been sitting upstairs since Christmas  (in all fairness we only returned home after the holidays on Saturday)

In terms of best games for last gen consoles a lot of what's already been said, but as much as I love gta v, I love gta 4 so much more (still not a patch on vice city though). Batman arkham asylum/city are also great games who managed to get the combat system right straight away.

I enjoyed both the Batman Arkham games too but got sooooooooo frustrated trying to complete the combat challenges that I threw them away never to be played again! :-D

I also forgot to mention Dragon Age Origins. Another RPG classic from that gen.
