The bio and photo do make you want to slap them all in the face.
However, since I'm interested in new music, I'll be there for their set. Perhaps they're good, and just couldn't sell a glass of water to a thirsty man?

I would've avoided them just from the photo before even looking at the blurb.

Whoever wrote that should not be allowed near a keyboard ever again. Good lord.
Re: What made you Lol Today?
Listening to them might be marginally worse than reading the bio

Fast forwarded to about half way through, could only listen in 5 second bursts. Are the organisers out of their minds? And I don't mean that in a neckbeardy "grr I hate screamo it's so false" way. I wish them well because I like to think I'm not a dick but they'd be better off at some Download/Sonisphere small stage playing to demographics that might appreciate them more.

I had a look at the video above. Sam Allardyce think's it's hilarious.

Re: What made you Lol Today?
Gave their songs a listen and their bio a quick read. I liked what I heard. Despite them not being my usual cup of tea I can clearly see they're talented young people who deserved to win M2M. The lead singer has a great voice, and dat drummer. I will happily go and check them out, I'll keep an open mind.
Re: What made you Lol Today?
if you're into that sort of music, they probably aren't that bad for what it's worth. I know a few of my friends on facebook like them.
They won a competition through whatever means (I still think popularity wins over actual talent in these things but whatevs) to play a festival for free.
They've probably spent hundreds of pounds on rehearsals/getting to the competition rounds/getting to bloodstock and at the end of it they still aren't making a penny so fair play to them if that makes them happy.
That bio is inexcusable however

Yikes. It looks like someone vomited the 90s on that.
